Looking for your perfect vehicle? With local inventory, calculators, tips, and resources, our free Auto Finder can help get you on the road faster and easier.  Search from new or used cars, compare vehicles, get pre-approved, and more!

Coin Services

We gladly accept rolled coin from our members at all locations. For loose coin, please take advantage of our coin machine located at our Bath branch. The coin machine is a free service for members, however, we do encourage you to support Maine Credit Union’s Campaign for Ending Hunger by donating 3% of the proceeds. A 3% coin machine fee does apply for non-members. If you are in need of rolled coin for an event or for your business, please provide us with advance notice and we will have it ready for you.

CO-OP Shared Branching Network

We are a proud member of the CO-OP Shared Branching Network which allows you to use over 5,700 credit union locations nationwide to access your Midcoast accounts. Whether you are traveling in-state or across the country, take Midcoast FCU with you!

Take advantage of this free service and make withdrawals, deposits or loan payments. Remember to have a valid photo ID along with your Midcoast FCU account number, when visiting a shared branching location. Contact us for more information or search CO-OP Shared Branch locations here.


Direct Deposit

No need to worry about making it to the Credit Union before closing time.  With Direct Deposit, your payroll is electronically deposited into your account with immediate availability.  To take advantage of Direct Deposit, download the Direct Deposit Form, complete the form and provide it to your payroll or accounting department. Even better, add to the convenience with an eAlert and we will text or email you when the deposit is made into your account!


eStatements

Go paperless! Access up to 18 months of past statements anytime, safely, securely and for FREE through Digital Banking. eStatements provide the same content as your paper statement, only in digital form. You can opt back to paper statements at any time.
Now through December 2024, Members enrolled in eStatements will be ENTERED TO WIN $100 in our monthly drawing!

Night Deposit

A night depository service is available to our members at all office locations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Deposits placed in night drop after 3:00PM will be processed the next business day, Monday through Friday.


Notary Services

We are pleased to offer free notary services to our members at all office locations. Walk in assistance is available however, to accommodate your schedule, we recommend that you contact us in advance to make an appointment.

Oops Protection

Added protection against insufficient funds. Thrive Debit accounts receive reimbursement for up to three insufficient fund fees annually by contacting the Credit Union. Free4Me accounts receive up to two insufficient fund fee reimbursements annually by contacting the Credit Union.

Overdraft Privilege

Protect yourself from the inconvenience and embarrassment of having a transaction declined or a check returned for insufficient funds with Overdraft Privilege. This optional service allows for the honoring of transactions up to your Overdraft Privilege limit.

Safe Deposit Boxes

Safe deposit boxes provide extra security for your important items, documents and files. We are pleased to offer safe deposit box services in our Bath and Thomaston Offices. These boxes are held in a fire-retentive area and have a two-key security procedure. Box sizes and yearly annual fees are as follows:
3×5: $30.00 annually
5×5: $35.00 annually
3×10: $40.00 annually
5×10: $70.00 annually
10×10: $100.00 annually
Lost Key: $30.00
Box Drilling: $250.00

Take a break from your monthly loan payment with our Skip-A-Pay Program. Members can utilize this offer, any time of the year to assist with financial stress, periods of reduced income, holiday expenses, or just to take a needed break from their monthly obligations.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are traveling out of the state or country, please call and notify the CU so that we can ensure that your debit card works properly while you are traveling.

About Mobile Wallets

Wire Transfers

Wire transfers are a convenient and secure way to move funds from one financial institution to another. No more worries about lost or stolen checks!  All U.S. and foreign wire information must be received by 2:30 pm for funds to be wired the same day. All wire requests must be signed in person by the member after physical ID has been verified. Click to view the applicable Wire Transfer and Agreement Forms:
