Set up text or email notification alerts!

Offered through Digital Banking, eAlerts are free, customizable, easy to establish, and can be modified at any time. Set up notifications for low balance alerts, account access, payroll deposits, loan payment reminders, and many more with the toggle of a switch.

eAlert Options

eAlert electronic notification system helps you stay on top of your funds coming in and going out. It helps protect you from fraudulent activity and avoid any overdraft fees or late payments. Available via text, email or both. Set up the following eAlerts or create your own customized ones:

  • Automatic Deposit
  • Automatic Withdrawal
  • Balance Amount
  • Balance Summary
  • Loan Payment Due
  • Returned Check
  • Transactions
  • Transaction Description
  • Online Account Accessed
  • Mobile Deposit Completed
  • Transfer Funds Success
  • Transfer Funds Failure

Set Up eAlerts Today

Self-manage eAlerts by following these steps:

For Mobile Devices:

  • Download our Midcoast FCU Mobile App for Digital Banking
  • Click “more” in the bottom right-hand corner to open the app menu. 
  • Select “Accounts”
  • Click “Manage Alerts”
  • Click “Accounts” again
  • Select the account you’d like to apply alerts to in the grey drop menu
  • Use the toggle switches to turn selected alerts on (toggle is also used to turn alert off)
  • Use the toggle switch to select your preferred delivery method ( email or push notification)
  • Click Save

For Desktop Devices:

  • Log into your Digital Banking account 
  • Select “Accounts” from the top header menu,
  • then choose “Manage eAlerts” in the menu
  • Select the account you’d like to apply alerts to in the grey drop menu
  • Use the toggle switches to turn selected alerts on (toggle is also used to turn alert off)
  • Use the toggle switch to select your preferred delivery method ( email or push notification)
  • Click Save

Visa Purchase Alert

Enroll both credit and debit cards. The service also provides the following email and text alert options:

  • Alert me when a purchase meets or exceeds a certain dollar amount.
  • Alert me when my card is used outside the US.
  • Alert me when a purchase is made online or by phone.

You can receive custom notifications for each card you enroll and the notifications can be edited at any time. Once you create an account and enroll one or more card(s), you will receive a code via email to access the site. The site walks you through a few quick steps and the card alert activation takes seconds. This easy to use service will send you a text alert when a purchase is made on your card.
