Mobile Wallet

Make contactless purchases with your smartphone. Your Midcoast debit and credit card are Apple Pay®, Google Pay™, and Samsung Pay© compatible.

Apple Pay®

Apple Pay is a mobile payment and digital wallet service by Apple Inc. that lets users make payments using compatible devices.1

How can I get set up?
1. On your iPhone, open Wallet. On your iPad, go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay.
2. Tap Add a Credit or Debit Card.
3. If you have a supported Credit or Debit Card on file with iTunes, enter the card’s security code.
4. Tap Next.
5. After your card is verified, tap Next.

Google Pay™

Google Pay is a digital wallet platform developed by Google to power in-app and tap-to-pay purchases on compatible devices.2

 How can I get set up?
1. Ensure that NFC is turned on by checking your device settings.
2. Download the app if it did not come installed on your device, then open it.
3. Tap Add a Credit or Debit Card & align the card inside the frame to capture your card information.
4. If you’re asked to verify your card, choose a method from the list.
5. Find and enter the verification code.

Samsung Pay©

Samsung Pay is another mobile payment service that allows users to make payments using a compatible device.3  Similar to Google Pay and Apple Pay, this mobile payment system uses NFC technology.

How can I get set up?
1. If necessary, download the Samsung Pay app to your device, then open it.
2. Sign into your Samsung Account, and follow the steps on the screen.
3. Align the card inside the frame and take a photo.
4. Enter any remaining required information and tap Next.
5. You may be asked to verify your card. If necessary, choose the desired verification method and enter the one-time password (OTP).

Mobile Watch-ipay

Pay with your watch!

Your Midcoast FCU Debit and Credit Cards are accepted within Apple Pay service on compatible watch devices.

Get started with Apple Pay®:

  • On your paired iPhone, open the Apple Watch app.
  • In the My Watch tab, tap Wallet & Apple Pay.
  • Tap Add Card. Tap Debit or Credit Card (both Midcoast FCU cards are compatible) and tap to add a new card.
  • Tap Continue.
  • Enter the CVV credentials from the back of the card, and submit.
  • The app will ask you to verify the information via apple pay. Once complete it will advise “card activated.”
  • You are now able to make purchases by holding your watch over the store’s card reader and double clicking on the watch’s side button.
