Self-manage your Midcoast FCU debit and credit cards with on-the-go convenience through Digital Banking With our free app, (available for both iPhone and Android devices) you can manage your card controls, set eAlerts, receive notifications, and other helpful features all from the convenience of your phone or mobile device.

Block / Unblock Card

Block and unblock your card right through your phone, with our Digital Banking! 

Want to be in full control of your card’s activity? You can add and remove a temporary block on your card at any time to improve your security protection and restrict its use. In the event your debit or credit card is lost, stolen, or fraudulently tampered with, the first step to take, is to block your card. Contact us immediately after.

Block card

Follow these steps to Block/Unblock your card:

Managed right through your phone or desktop device via Digital Banking.

  • 1) Click the “… More” icon in the bottom banner to display the menu. 
  • 2) Select “Block Card.” from the “My Cards” section of the menu. 
  • 3) Toggle the “Block this card” switch to the right to place a temporary block on your card’s use.
  • 4) To unblock, follow the same instructions, but toggle the switch to the left to remove the block.

Replacement Options

Report lost, stolen cards, or damaged cards, and request a replacement with our Digital Banking! 

Need a new card?  You can submit a replacement request easily via Digital Banking.

In the event your debit or credit card is lost, stolen, or fraudulently tampered with, we recommend you first block your card (instructions listed above) then contact us immediately after.

Follow these steps to request a card replacement:

Managed right through your phone or desktop device via Digital Banking.

  • 1) Click the “… More” icon in the bottom banner to display the menu. 
  • 2) Select “Order Replacement Card.” from the “My Cards” section of the menu. 
  • 3) Click the drop menu to select your Reason” (i.e. Lost; Stolen; Damaged)
  • 4) Click the “Continue” button.

It’s that easy!  If you’d prefer to contact us instead, we’re happy to process a replacement request for you as well. If you need a card urgently, Instant Issue Cards with the EMV chip (tap to pay “contactless”) can be made for you at our Bath and Thomaston branches. There is a $10.00 fee for requested debit card replacements.

Travel Notices

Set your travel dates and destinations right through your phone, with our Digital Banking! 

Traveling soon for Vacation? Avoid triggering fraud protections and declined transactions on your debit and/or credit cards, by setting up a travel notice via Digital Banking!

Increased fraud security filters mean better protection for you; however, they also mean card transactions outside of the State of Maine may get declined. To avoid any interrupted use of your card(s) while traveling, let us know your travel plans by contacting us, or managing your travel information right thru your phone in digital banking. This will ensure authorized use of your card(s) in the states and/or countries you will be visiting. It is recommended that you set your travel notice at least 1 full business day prior to your travel.

Follow these steps to set a Travel Notice:

Managed right through your phone or desktop device via your Digital Banking.

  • 1) Click the “… More” icon in the bottom banner to display the menu.  
  • 2) Select “Set Travel Notification.” from the “My Cards” section of the menu. 
  • 3) Click  “Travel Notice” 
  • 4) Scroll down and click  “+ Add a Travel Notice” 
  • 5) Enter your intended travel Dates and Destination
  • 6) Click “Save” in the top header. 

It’s that easy!  If you’d prefer to contact us instead, we’re happy to set travel notifications for you as well!
