Kristen Poremby

Chief Operations Officer

Kristen joined Midcoast in 2019 with nearly a decade of financial industry experience. In her career, she has held numerous leadership positions in training, management and operations. Kristen currently oversees Midcoast’s five branches and Member Contact Center, as well as leads the Credit Union’s efforts to support our community. Kristen is committed to incorporating financial literacy throughout the member service experience. Her role is to ensure that service excellence is the standard in each of our member facing roles. Kristen believes training, coaching, and developing employees to achieve their highest potential will ultimately lead to increased member knowledge and satisfaction.

Kristen holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Maine at Augusta and is currently working toward her MBA from the University of Maine. In addition, Kristen holds several professional certificates specific to the financial services industry.
