Who We Are
Midcoast Federal Credit Union is a full-service, not-for-profit financial cooperative, owned by our members and headquartered in Freeport, Maine. We offer simple and effective financial services and education for the hardworking people and businesses in Cumberland, Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Knox, and Waldo Counties. Members are served from five branch locations, through the latest in online and mobile technologies, and collaboratively from over 250 Maine credit union ATMs and over 5,000 national shared branch locations.

Becoming a member is easy!
Eligible Maine residents or students can apply online in about 10 minutes, or visit us in a branch near you. You just need a valid ID, your Social Security number or Tax ID, and a minimum $5.00 deposit.
