To complete the account opening process, you must be 18 years or older or have an adult joint account owner and provide us with:
- A Valid U.S. Government issued ID (e.g. Driver's License, Passport, State or Military ID) or Foreign Passport.
- Your Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN)

Self-open a IRA Certificates by following these easy steps:
- Login to Midcoast Connection
- From the Accounts tab, click on the Create New Account link and follow the on screen instructions.
