Our Commitment to Our Members
An Update for Our Members
Like you, we have been continuously monitoring the impact and development of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We recognize and appreciate the trust you place in us as your financial institution, and we want you to know the health and well-being of our members and employees is our top priority.
What we’re doing
We are monitoring and following all guidance set forth by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), including taking the necessary steps to reduce the threat of COVID-19 exposure to both our members and employees. We have added additional steps to our already extensive cleaning procedures and hand sanitizer, gloves and other disinfectant products are in vigorous use at all locations. We are reinforcing all best practices recommended by the CDC and monitoring our employees’ health closely, asking them to refrain from coming to work if experiencing flu-like symptoms.
What you can do today
Communication is essential. Please contact us today or review your profile in online banking to ensure that your email address and other contact information is accurate on your account.
Our branches are open and our staff is at the ready to serve your financial needs. However, now is the time to adopt our eService product suite and utilize our drive-up facilities, night depositories and ATMs to minimize face-to-face contact. Whether you're paying bills, depositing a check, checking an account balance or transferring money, our goal remains to empower you to conduct your financial business quickly and easily. We also would like to remind you of our participation in the Shared Branching Co-Op Network and with the SURF ATM network for alternative means to access your Midcoast account.
Cyber criminals prey upon the public's concerns. Outbreaks of malware infected phishing emails are in strong circulation. Stay vigilant and do not click on emails or open attachments from unknown resources. When you are seeking information regarding the COVID-19 virus, use a safe source such as the CDC website and be cautious when searching for information on the internet. Fraudsters look for every avenue to gain your trust and access to your personal information. We ask that you never provide your social security number, account number, pin numbers or passwords to anyone over the phone or internet. Learn more here.
Despite the threat posed by COVID-19, we remain committed to serving you. You are our members, part of Team Midcoast, and together we will get through this situation.
