Great news! The first round of the U.S. Treasury Economic Impact Payments have been distributed. For those members receiving ACH deposits today, all payments have been posted to your accounts. Essential Business Designation: We are here for you!
As Governor Mills and local communities further efforts to flatten the COVID-19 curve with Stay at Home orders and other social distancing efforts, I would like to remind you that Maine's credit unions, specifically your credit union, is designated as an Essential Business. We will remain open, to the best of our ability, throughout this event and provide continued access to your financial services. While our lobbies will remain closed, our drive-up facilities are fully operational. Many of our employees are working from home and we have positioned additional employees to support our Member Contact Center to handle increased call volume.

Phishing and Scam Rates Increase as a Result of COVID-19
Researchers have discovered a spike in websites using the Coronavirus as a way to get your personal information. Some of the sites are promoting awareness and prevention tips, requesting donations for victims, offering advice on treatment or are promoting mobile apps to track the virus in real time. Truth is, many of these sites and emails contain malicious attachments or are infected with ransomware.

Our Annual Meeting has been Postponed
In light of efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19, the 64th Annual Meeting of our Members, originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 25th, has been postponed at this time. We are currently exploring alternative methods of hosting the meeting and the possibility of rescheduling to a later date.
